In my opinion, design is the whole process of conveying an idea through reasonable planning, detailed and thorough planning and various feeling forms. Through labour, people transform the world, create civilization, create material wealth and spiritual wealth, and the most basic and critical pioneering activity is creation. Design refers to the prior planning of creation activities, which can understand the planning technology and planning process of all creation activities as design.

A little about my thinking

Conception and planning describe the process of designing and solving problems. Although this description is vague, it is still vivid, because it conveys the necessary logic and creativity in design. In a broad understanding, design is intuitively described by a linear model: from defining problems to solving problems. Defining problems is the process of analysis, which means finding problems and understanding every detail, and clarifying all needs to be met; Solving problems is a process of artificial creation, which means integrating these needs and balancing the interests of all parties to produce a final plan that can guide actual production.In fact, on the one hand, design is not a linear process; On the other hand, difficult problems are difficult to formulate, which means that such problems cannot be analysed or solved linearly. This may sound counter intuitive. For example, think about "brainstorming" in design. The designer does not need any linear analysis or reasoning in the process of brainstorming an idea. After mastering enough information, many ideas will naturally pop up in our minds.
